Dante Skills

This is a list related to the different techniques used for general Dante commands to understand Damage, Stylish points and properties.

  • Dante can activate DS by pressing the directional pad in the direction of the currently selected style.
  • Any moves with an input command of + + in DT has additional effects at the cost of expending part of the DT Gauge.
  • Lucifer can have up to fifteen swords on the field at any given time. Putting new swords on the field will cause the earliest spawned sword to explode. All swords can be manually detonated at any time with Ecstasy. The swords will also detonate after a set amount of time according to when they were put out.
  • Gilga has Just Charge property which emits a specific bright glow and unique sound effect. The damage becomes roughly twice as powerful and some attacks may recieve additional effects. For example, Shock! covers more range.
  • Pandora Disaster Gauge determines the quantity of ammo, power and damage given to Pandora's GS moves. Each GS Level purchase increases the cap. Although, Super-Costumes makes the Gauge unlimited.
  • The damage value is fetched from Devil Hunter difficulty. You can check the difficulty differences to see how the value changes for other modes (1)

Devil State


  • A high speed lunge attack towards a targeted enemy, which knocks them back upon connecting.
  • Level 2 has an increased damage output and even greater range.
  • Devil-state enables this attack to cover a greater area and drills through enemies.

  • A blinding whirlwind of stabs with enough momentum to blast an enemy away.
  • Stinger version of Million Stab grants 24 hits.

Round Trip
  • Hurl Rebellion at an enemy.
  • The impaled blade will shred the enemy until called back by pressing or once the 17th hit ends.

Prop / Shredder
  • Press O to Spin Rebellion at propeller-like speeds. Initial attack will send the enemy skyward.
  • After launching an enemy with Prop, slice and dice your foe with the rapidly spinning blade. Hold O to extend the duration of the attack.
  • Prop has 4 possible hits while shredder has 26 possible hits.

Quick Drive
  • A Drive attack born from a slash. While the speed at which it is unleashed is admirable, it does have a limiting effect on power.

Dance Macabre

  • There are 9 possible hits during Million Stab Sequence.
