Yamato Modes

This is a list related to the different techniques and Styles used for general Vergil commands to understand Damage, Stylish points and properties. (1)

  • Certain moves like Atomic goes straight into meter which is why inital point is high.

Rapid Slash
  • A dashing move that allows Vergil to pass through enemies leaving a trail of strike behind.
  • Level 2 increases travel distance.
  • Command: Hold Angel Mode + △
Stylish Points
Rapid Slash 10 ∼ 52 Per Hits
Flare
  • A spiraling attack that strikes all enemies surrounding Vergil.
  • Can be upgraded to Level 2
  • Command: Hold Angel Mode + O

Rising Star
  • A charge move that launches Vergil and surrounding enemies into the air.
  • Can be upgraded to Level 2
  • Command: Hold Angel Mode + Hold then release O

Solar Flare
  • A devastating charge move that launches Vergil and all enemy types into the air.
  • Requires Rising Star level 2.
  • To execute, release O at the exact moment Vergil's sword is charged

Orbit
  • Vergil juggles enemies in the air before striking them into the ground below.
  • Level 2 increases the damage.
  • Has embed version to unlock which leaves a sword embedded in the enemy.
  • Command: in Mid-Air Hold Angel Mode + △

Aerial Flush
  • Vergil launches a heavy sword at nearby enemies.
  • Level 2 increases the damage.
  • Has embed version to unlock which leaves a sword embedded in the enemy.
  • Command: in Mid-Air Hold Angel Mode + O

Divorce
  • A powerful succession of slashes.
  • Level 2 increases the damage.
  • Command: Hold Demon Mode + △, △, △

Volcano
  • Vergil strikes the ground pushing enemies away.
  • Can be upgraded into Charge version which eruptes small enemies into the air.
  • Command: Hold Demon Mode + O

Atomic
  • Requires Volcano Charge.
  • Vergil strikes the ground launching all enemies into the air.
  • To execute, release O at the exact moment Vergil's sword is charged.

Killer Bee
  • Vergil launches down towards enemies.
  • Can be upgraded to Level 2.
  • Command: in Mid-Air Hold Demon Mode + △

Drive
  • Vergil slashes down sending an enemy slamming into the ground.
  • Has embed version to unlock which leaves a sword embedded in the enemy.
  • Command: in Mid-Air Hold Demon Mode + O

Drive 160
Stomp
  • Following a Drive attack, Vergil charges his sword and crashes down on top of the fallen enemy.
  • This move is more powerful from greater heights. Similar to Eryx's Stomp.
  • Can be upgraded to Level 2.
  • Command: In the air following a Drive attack Hold Demon Mode + O
