Dante's Devil Arms

This is a list related to the different techniques used for Dante's weapon commands to understand Damage, Stylish points and properties. (1)

  • Activating Ignition enables attack power boost and grants 500 Style Point. The base duration of this skill is 12s, which can be extended further by purchasing it's upgrade in the shop. Level 2 makes it last 16s while Level 3 maximizes it to 20s.
  • The duration of Ignition can be halted in SDT
  • DT increases attack power speed and defense around 30%. It also certain moves like Stinger additional effects at the cost of expending part of the DT Gauge.
  • DSD inherits abilities from Reb and Sparda However, some of them works differently than the other.
  • Swords Formation activates by default in DT unless DSD is not equipped.

Drive / Over Drive
  • This blistering sword swing creates a shockwave that damages distant enemies. Hold to make it hit harder.
  • Input right after the first basic combo slash to execute a Quick Drive

  • After executing Drive press immediately after a shockwave to follow up strike to Drive that lets fly two more shockwaves in rapid succession.

Sword Formation

  • Conjures four swords that automatically attack, evade. and block on your behalf.
  • Swords disappear after a set time. Uses up 2 units of the DT gauge.
  • Command: Hold and release once the blade glows brighter

Chaser
  • Your conjured swords follow up your melee weapon strikes with automatic attacks.

Interceptor
  • Your conjured swords detect nearby threats and slash automatically to keep them at bay.
  • It can interrupt some enemy attacks. Although, enemies that are locked on do not automatically attack.
  • Command: Change to GS while in DT or while Swords Formation is activated

Reactor
  • Increases the number of times you can repeatedly Jump dash and use Sky Star and Air Trick
  • Command: Change to TS while in DT or while Swords Formation is activated
Escort
  • Blocking attacks causes your conjured swords to stand guard around you, charging the Royal Gauge. The swords will block incoming attacks, lessening the damage.
  • Command: Change to RG while in DT or while Swords Formation is activated
Overall damage reduction by 20%
Reduce DT gauge consumption when blocking by 25%
Increase Rage meter gain by 25%

  • A multi-hit attack using conjured swords.

Top Gear
  • While Gear Wheel is active, wait for the weapon to glow before pressing another button for a quick follow-up attack.
  • This happens when you hit the wheel during 3~5 hits of Buzzsaws or hits with 4~6 Motorcycle
  • Gain 50 Style Point
Overtop Gear
  • While Gear Wheel is active, press another button just as the attack finishes to trigger a much quicker and more powerful follow-up attack.
  • This happens when you hit the wheel on more than 6 hits of Buzzsaws or 7 hits with Motorcycle
  • Gain 100 Style Point

  • Ride your momentum into a three-stage combo attack.
  • Gear Wheel is active during the first and second stages.
  • Can be chained into Combo B in SM
