Devil May Cry 4 New Game+ is a speedrun category in which the player tries to complete the game as fast as possible on a cleared file. The player must start the game with Nero/Dante and reach the final buster against False Savior in Mission 20 as quickly as they can. Using other programs to affect the game or modifying the game with mod is not allowed. The leaderboards for this category is only available at Vanilla

This is pure movement heavy category that is most notably popular in HoH. This category focuses around usage of Holy Waters and such. It may be a very good start point for improving at general Major Skips with Nero/Dante before getting involved with other categories.
It's advised to make note of Holy Water usage per room, when to restock and such.
