General Notes

  • Enemies have increased physical/ranged defence. Meaning, they have separate Melee & Ranged defence (1)
  • In Bloody Palace, defeating enemies adds a small amount of time to the timer. (2)
  • In MUST DIE mode, enemies entering DT state is based on a timer. Bosses aside from Dante enters that state when their life bar is less than 3 segments.
  • Player damage varies on some formula. Assuming overall calculation:
    • The difficulty that you are playing because of the damage modifiers
    • Weapon’s power
    • Enemy’s defence
    • Move that you are using itself ie: Real Impact

Much like DMC3, Each enemy Attack Level has different classification for RG Blocks:

  • Lv1 takes 1/4 damage.
  • Lv2 takes 1/2 damage.
  • Lv3 Can only be guarded with Royal Block
