Infested Chopper is an Infestant-controlled attack helicopter encountered throughout the latter half of Dante's Mission 5. This fight is the biggest reset point for most runs on Dante's categories. No matter what happens is completely out of players control. Even on NG+
The old strategy against this boss relied entirely on RNG-getting hit by its fan before activating Majin DT-which often wasted early Devil Star usage. The safer method is for the player to grab the green orb to fully heal before climbing the final building, then intentionally take damage from the four missile launchers to set up Majin. When executed correctly, this approach conserves Devil Stars. Additionally, if the player is close to depleting their DT gauge, they can use a Devil Star to maintain Majin and maximize DPS.
There are 3 patterns to look out for after the missile launcher hits :
Safe Method - Press the dodge button to recover quickly before taking another hit. Make sure that you are on the same height and facing the eye.
Old Risky Cycle - Extremely unreliable, as most runs fail at this segment when the boss doesn’t follow the expected pattern.
Scripted Cycle - Preemptively set up Majin HP using the Infested Tank, which is fast enough to save the time of transforming twice. If you fail the tank setup, you’ll lose time trying to get hit by Puia
