M5 Skip Target LRT - sub 0:50

If you've no damaged everything up to this point, you should be set Proud Soul wise, no matter if you're doing M5 Skip or not. Here's what to look out for:

M1-M4 No Damage - This is the optimal route. You should be able to buy every ability from the shop apart from Snatch 2.
Took damage in 1 or 2 Missions - Be prepared to skip purchases and sell abilities. Skip purchasing Calibur since it's not as important yet and if you're performing the M5 Skip, you may sell Charge Shot 3 for this mission.

Before you start, buy Roulette Spin, Split, Air Hike and then Calibur if possible from the shop. The difference with shop for M5 Skip is that you also need to buy Exceed 2 for the skip. You should aim to no damage Mission 5, but this mission rewards the least amount of Proud Souls in the run, especially if you are doing M5 Skip.

Mission 5 Skip

There are no mandatory fights when performing M5 Skip. After starting the mission, turn around and go back to the boss arena.
The abilities that are required to successfully pull off this skip: Roulette Spin, Exceed 2, Split and Air Hike.
After spawning in the Frosts, once you're getting prepared to perform the skip, do these inputs: Buster → Jump for a Split (important exceed AFTER splitting) → Attack
A new skip setup was recently discovered by Stuby. This removes the requirement for Split and saves roughly 3 seconds.
Right when the Frost is about to land, do these inputs: Do a Non-Exceed Attack and THEN Exceed the attack and the next attack will get you out of bounds
The Holy Water skipped here will be grabbed later in Mission 15.

Mission 5 Normal

No abilities are required for normal Mission 5, but Roulette Spin, Split and Air Hike are recommended for faster cycles.
Getting familiar with Snatch Cancelling will help you clear Mephistos cloaks faster.
For the Torture Chamber Gyro, the fastest way to get it to the other side is to Buster → Exceeded Aerial Slash.
Be sure to grab the Holy Water with the inertia CS setup.
Sometimes you can get both Mephistos cloaks gone in one CS3. Inconsistent.
You don't need to attack the chandelier to start the cutscene. You can interact with it too.
