Nightmare-β Distortion

Distortion is originally found in DMC4. However, it turned out that this mechanic existed 20 years ago with the first game in the series. This is considered a bug that involves toggling DT between melee attacks in order to multiply the damage dealt.

General Notes

  • Nightmare-β with Ifrit first basic combo (Straight) adds x2 multiplier and there is a certain window where would these factors below stacks together for destructive damage:
    DT Multiplier + Nightmare-β Straight + Just Frame Charge
  • There is no real good application on the speedrun as of now and it's considered useless.
