Target LRT - sub 1:40
Autoscroller mission. There is a few spots where you lose a bit of time if The Savior stares you a lot or does a bad attack pattern, but other than that, it is a consistent mission.
In Mission 18, it is not required to purchase anything from the shop. You should have the Pandora upgrades for this mission.
The Saviour
Phase 1
- Immediately when spawned, use the Pandora Revenge attack twice to stun the The Savior. Use DT for faster winding up.
- Follow the example clip to see what moves to use to destroy The Savior cores. You will mainly be using the Pandora moves to destroy them so you can build the Disaster Gauge for later.
- You can Taunt or do a full combo of Yamato Combo S to gain some DT in most places throughout the mission. The Taunt has a cooldown but the Yamato Combo S does not have one.
- Once you've cleared the cores, The Savior will stand back up, and now you need to get on his right hand. Get to a suitable location where he will do the necessary attack so that you can hop on his hand. Destroy the final right arm core and the head core using the Pandora Argument move.
- Once you've destroyed all the cores, The Savior will charge up the big laser. You can do the skip here or just run around with the bounce pads. If you're doing the skip, DT, triple jump and maintain height with the Rainstorm move. Tank the attack with DT and continue using the Rainstorm and you will teleport to the end.
- The risky cycle only saves 2-3s with good RNG, and it's a bit random after the head core pops. The standard cycle is a lot more consistent.
Phase 2
- Once the boss fight starts, you can hold the guard button in the air and tank the laser in the air with RG2 and skip waiting for the laser to finish. You need Royal Guard Lv2 for this and saves about 5s. This is not done in runs yet.
- You can get 2 Pandora Revenge shots in at the platform while waiting for the laser attack to finish. Be sure to aim Revenge attack downward so that you'll get the hits in.
- The safest method would be to RI the head core when The Savior is coming up. This will always stun, and then you can go do a few more Distorted RI on the guy when he's stunned.
- The optimal way to kill The Savior would be to do a Distorted Straight Lv2 into a Distorted RI. You have time to turn off DT after the Straight and before the RI for higher damage, but only do this if you have lots of DT. Otherwise, DT Distorted RI will do the job too.
- It is possible to use Lucifer Pin-Up as a backup here. Set up 3 Pin-Ups above the The Savior and go for the Straight→RI cycle. If you mess this up, one Pandora Revenge on The Savior will stun him.
