**Qliphoth Roots** is first encountered as the level boss of Mission 1.\\
===== Strategy =====
> [[dmc5:vergil|Vergil]] trivializes this with his destructive JJC and DG. This is the same with [[dmc5:nero_dante_v|Nero]] on Overture and Gerbera.
* Devil Hunter Usually attacks on the third detonation of Overture.
* Human Attacks after the first detonation and usually dies after Overture explosion.
* [[dmc5:nero_dante_v|NG+]] behaves slightly different due to CS'3 start up.
* [[dmc5:vergil|Vergil]] needs to get close to Qliphoth before summoning DG for Max Damage. He can kill the roots in [[dmc5:vergil:ng_plus|NG+]] with Dragon Breaker → Aerial Cleave → OverDrive while making sure that PS is active with Heavy Rain Blades and Spiral Blades
To save more time against this boss as [[dmc5:vergil|vergil]] Sequential Judgement Cuts would be ideal
