====== NG Nero / Dante Mission 2 ====== Target LRT - sub 3:25 After [[dmc4:chapters:ng_nero_dante:m1|Mission 1]], your Proud Soul {{dmc4:proudsoul.png?nolink&25}} route should look something like this.\\ * **400 or more** {{dmc4:proudsoul.png?nolink&25}} - Your route is healthy and you only need to grab minimum red orbs during **Mission 2** * **300 ~ 400** {{dmc4:proudsoul.png?nolink&25}} - Still a healthy route but be sure to grab some red orbs on the way during **Mission 2** * **300 or less** {{dmc4:proudsoul.png?nolink&25}} - Be sure to grab a lot of red orbs during **Mission 2** Before you start, buy Speed and Charge Shot 1 from the shop. Speed is the fastest way to travel in the game and Charge Shot 1 increases the cycle speed by a ton of time for **Mission 2**. Aim for an {{:wiki:arank.png?nolink&25|}} rank for this mission and do not take damage to be able to afford the [[dmc4:chapters:ng_nero_dante:m3|Mission 3]] abilities. ===== General Notes ===== * Must be cleared without getting hit. If done right, you will receive an {{:wiki:arank.png?nolink&25|}} rank after finishing the mission, and around 2200 Proud Souls {{dmc4:proudsoul.png?nolink&25}} to spare. * To get past **Mission 2**, you have to get some bonus red orbs {{:wiki:dmc1redorb.png?nolink&25|}} Destroy one or more shelves in Store House, and get some orbs in the sewers in First Mining Area, and you're good. * The fastest way to eliminate [[dmc4:enemy#Scarecrows|Scarecrow (Arm)]] is to do a Buster → CS1 or vice versa and for [[dmc4:enemy#Scarecrows|Scarecrow (Leg)]] the best way is Buster → Exceeded Attack → Buster. * You can skip the Grim Grips in the Cathedral by doing the [[dmc4:skips:cathedral_skip|Cathedral Skip]]. * Try not to finish a fight by killing an enemy with CS1. The enemy will despawn slower causing for you to wait longer. * You can refer to the Store House cycle [[youtube>embed/_PWL2za-nCw?autoplay=0&wmode=transparent&start=0|here]]. * Rooftop cycles [[youtube>embed/HIZEo6Jio34?autoplay=0&wmode=transparent&start=0|here]]. A new High Roller optimisation was recently discovered [[youtube>embed/4isPc8IampA?autoplay=0&wmode=transparent&start=0|here]]. * Customs House cycle [[youtube>embed/whqHt2xk0dI?autoplay=0&wmode=transparent&start=0|here]]. * [[dmc4:bosses:berial|Berial]] is the biggest roadblock to your no damage dreams. It's very important to be consistent at [[dmc4:tricks:Exceed|Exceeds]] to get a consistent cycle. The Aerial Combo is the fastest method to deal damage but requires awareness to not get caught mid-air by a hit. The 1st Buster has to be executed when [[dmc4:bosses:berial|Berial]] has lost roughly 3 bars of HP. If you hang around [[dmc4:enemy#Berial|Berial's]] back legs, you should always bait out the Jump Slash attack and prevent any bad RNG patterns.
