====== NG Nero / Dante Mission 15 ====== Target LRT - sub 3:50 Run-killer mission. This mission heavily relies on your [[dmc4:tricks:distorting|Distortion]] timings, combined with some [[dmc4:tricks:just_frame_attacks]]. The [[dmc4:enemy#Blitz]] can easily kill your run if you're not ready to adapt quickly. We also have another Balls/Kamikaze manipulation and [[dmc4:bosses:bael|Dagon]] RNG.\\ In **Mission 15**, it is not required to purchase anything from the shop unless you're missing some abilities or items from the previous missions. ===== First Blitz ===== * Once the [[dmc4:enemy#Blitz]] fight begins, face towards the camera and input the Shock attack. You need to be in DT, so as soon as the [[dmc4:enemy#Blitz]] hits you, release the attack and DT to remove his shield. If his shield is still up, use Shotgun to remove it. Do a quick Taunt after to gain some DT back. During the taunt, as soon as you see the [[dmc4:enemy#Blitz]] growling or crawling, go for a Distorted RI. If the [[dmc4:enemy#Blitz]] is jumping around, get some distance from him quickly and wait for a visual or audio cue on the growl and then go for the move. * New setup was recently [[youtube>embed/q-blQqrliJc?autoplay=0&wmode=transparent&start=0|discovered by renzero]]. You start by Trickster Dashing toward the camera and inputting a Straight. Use DT during this and Distort a level 2 Straight on him. After his shield is gone, quickly input a normal RI and then time a Distorted RI as soon he's getting up. A good visual cue for the second RI is when he's landed and stationary. This setup is a bit less random than the Shock but harder to execute. ===== General Notes ===== * You can break some statues in the **Gallery** for green orbs if you're low on health. * In the **Library**, running to the red door on the side forces the [[dmc4:enemy#Alto Angelo]] in the air, making the manipulation free. He will do Balls or Kamikaze on the second formation attack every time. Use Straight or RI on the rest of the enemies. Grab the Orb Crystal before heading out. * Performing Divekick JC and [[dmc4:tricks:just_frame_attacks]] is the most efficient way to deal with the [[dmc4:enemy#Scarecrows]]. If you happen to have at least 3 [[dmc4:enemy#Scarecrows]] in close proximity, doing a DT Distorted Shock clears them nicely too. If you want a quicker despawn, use Beast Uppercut as a finisher on the [[dmc4:enemy#Scarecrows]]. * Doing the Prop → RI combo on the [[dmc4:enemy#Frost|Frosts]] is the safest bet to dispose of them. You can Enemy Step out of them after the 3rd hit of the Real Impact for faster recovery. * During this run, if you did [[dmc4:skips:m5_full_skips|M5 Skip]], drop down the hole and grab the Holy Water. If you did not do [[dmc4:skips:m5_full_skips|M5 Skip]], you can perform the [[dmc4:skips:hole_skip]]. * In the **Master's Chamber**, eliminate two [[dmc4:enemy#Scarecrows]], wait for the [[dmc4:enemy#Blitz]] to spawn and use a Holy Water. Finish off the [[dmc4:enemy#Blitz]] with E&I. * Refer to a more detailed explanation of [[dmc4:bosses:bael]] here. Best way to stun [[dmc4:bosses:bael|Dagon]] is to JC Divekick him.
