Because your stylish average gets lower as you try to build for the [[dmc2:formulas#bonuses|Orb manip]] instead of full {{:dmc2:dmc2s.png?nolink&70|}} kills. It's also hard to not take lava damage before entering the **Vendetta** room. * The decision on the rank goal or [[dmc2:formulas#bonuses|Orb manip]] depends on the {{:wiki:dmc1redorb.png?nolink&25|}} count that you ended up in [[dmc2:chapters:ng_dante:m2|Mission 2]] ===== General Notes ===== * There is a {{:wiki:dmc5gold.png?nolink&15|}} behind the machinery which can be a good back up. Extra {{:wiki:dmc5gold.png?nolink&15|}} converts into **1,000** {{:wiki:dmc1redorb.png?nolink&25|}} which can be useful for safe route. * The lift takes a minute from activating to letting you jump off it, pausing the game pauses its descent and so does the loading. Therefore, Activate Elevator → Pick **Vendetta** → Pick [[dmc2:amulets#Attribute|Flame Heart]]. * [[dmc2:tricks:quick_flame_heart|Quick Flame Heart probably not worth the attempt]]. * Do not pick [[dmc2:amulets#support|Offence Heart]] since the DT bar restore will be much more useful at [[dmc2:chapters:ng_dante:m9|Mission 9]]. * If you fail to have no damage fight against [[dmc2:enemy#msiras|Msiras]] and [[dmc2:enemy#finisdemons|Terreofinises]] inside then it can hurt your {{:wiki:dmc1redorb.png?nolink&25|}} economy bad.
